Above is a CAT scan image – the purple/blue image is the proposed dental implant site, which is measured against the available bone that can be seen as a white colored area around the implant marker. This imaging system allows for more predictable dental implant placement into better bone sites. It is an invaluable tool for surgical planning. The better the plan, the better the result.
